Neil Miller was born in County Durham, United Kingdom and migrated with his family to New Zealand in 1975.

He graduated with a  BFA (Hons)  from the University of Auckland in 1987 and operated from a studio in Mt Eden for several years.

Neil lives and works in the Waitakere Ranges, West of Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city.

His sculpture, painting and relief works have a relationship to the natural world, the sea, and the urban environment.
