About Miranda Gallery
Founded by Annie Wilson, Miranda Gallery exhibits work of New Zealand artists and sculptors, set amongst the trees and gardens at her farm, in Miranda, overlooking the Firth of Thames and the Coromandel Peninsula.
Artists include: Michael Smither, Fatu Feu’u, Erçan Cairns, Dagmar Dyck, Warren Viscoe, Clovis Viscoe, Neil Miller, Samantha Lissette, Christine Hellyar, Suzy Dunser, Jim Wheeler.
As an avid collector of the art of Aotearoa for over 40 years, I feel deeply privileged to represent the artists that I have in the gallery.
My passion is sculpture, some of which we display outside the gallery, with the Firth of Thames as a backdrop.
I am particularly interested in abstract work, love bronze and metal of all kinds, love the fact that most of our artists are representing the New Zealand landscape in one form or another.
I believe art should be accessible for all, and hope I have provided an unpretentious environment to facilitate that!
There is a degree of commitment involved in finding us here in Miranda Pūkorokoro, but there is a cafe on site, plenty of parking, room to walk the dog, and a pleasant view to take in once you’re here.
We have a big group exhibition every Summer, and different single artist shows throughout the year.
Should you be nearby, we look forward to seeing you at the gallery.
